Introduction to Stained Glass (CopperFoil) - Workshop - Sunday 15th February - DEPOSIT

This workshop is for beginners as well as those that have had some experience, the workshop is run with a maximum of 4 students ensuring that each student receives individual attention.

Each student has use of all the tools and equipment they will need while taking part in the workshop. All patterns and materials, such as glass and solder are supplied at no extra cost.

You will have the opportunity to make a copper foil window hanging. You will have the choice of a number of different patterns to choose from, or bring your own ideas, we can discuss these at the session.

You will learn all the basic skills needed to make a window hanging such as:

• Scoring and breaking glass to fit a pattern.
• Selecting suitable glass.
• Glass grinding.
• Copper foiling
• Soldering.
• Attaching support rings.
• Finishing.

Please note:

• It is recommended that you bring your reading glasses for close work.
• It is recommended that you wear sensible shoes (no open toed shoes) when attending the workshop.

All materials such as glass and solder are provided at no extra cost.

Lunch is not provided, but homemade cake, teas and coffees are available through the session.

£85 per person

£20 deposit to secure your place paid here - then remainder (£65) in CASH at the workshop.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the workshop date - after which deposits are non-refundable.
